Wenyi Zhu is a self-taught oil painter whose work explores serene, sensitive, and occasionally surreal moments infused with nostalgia. With a PhD in Environmental Science from Rutgers University (2010), Zhu transitioned from a career in science to art in 2019, using the canvas to translate vivid inner visions into quiet, contemplative scenes.
