Bucky Bowles

Bucky Bowles is a full-time artist whose work is deeply rooted in his lifelong passion for the outdoors. Growing up hunting, fishing, and camping in southwest Georgia, Bowles developed a lasting connection to nature that continues to inspire his signature focus on sporting art and wildlife landscapes.

After earning a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia, Bowles began his career as a staff artist and later served as Art Director and Creative Director in the advertising and fine art print industries. In 2000, he left the corporate world to pursue painting full-time.

Bowles' work reflects his deep appreciation for the sporting life, with commissioned plantation hunts and nature scenes forming the core of his practice. His paintings are held in private collections across the country, admired for their authenticity, craftsmanship, and personal connection to the land.
